Isaiah Washington didn't say anything that half of America wasn't thinking. Why are they treating this like he's Kramer? Sure he used a derogatory term but he shouldn't lose his job over it.
Recent reports say that nearly 18,000 people have signed a petition calling for Washington's pink slip for using the word 'faggot' in an interview after the Golden Globes. If I am not mistaken, his quote was, "I did not call T.R. (Knight) a faggot, it never happened."
He did not, I repeat, did not, got off on some rampage outright calling anyone out of their name.
Bottom line, Washington is finally getting his due as an actor and now folks are doing their level best to derail his success.
Hopefully it will not happen. I honestly hope that Shonda Rhimes and the entire cast have aired all their issues and have gotten over it.
I feel that if the issue has been resolved between Knight and Washington, then it is time for the entire cast to move on and for God's sake, let their be some dialogue between Burke and Yang.
